Q. What geographic areas do you serve?
A. We strive to meet our clients’ delivery needs. To that end, the majority of the same day deliveries that we perform are within the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. There are occasions we either deliver or pick up critical packages for our clients in cities like Tyler, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.

Q. How much do you charge for your same day deliveries?
A. Our delivery rates are determined based on two major factors: distance and time. For example, the mileage for a delivery going from downtown Dallas to downtown Ft. Worth is far greater than the mileage for a delivery going from downtown Dallas to North Dallas. Therefore, the Ft. Worth delivery will be priced higher. Time also factors in heavily. The cost of a one hour delivery is greater than the cost of a four hour delivery given the lack of flexibility. We factor in both elements to come up with a fair price for our customers.

Q. I have had couriers come to my office looking like they just fell out of bed or worse. What can I expect of your couriers?
A. We understand that when we perform deliveries on your behalf we are an extension of your organization. To that end, we ensure that our couriers are well trained, conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, and are neatly attired. The standard uniform is a logo embroidered dark blue shirt with khaki pants.
Q. Do you make same day deliveries after 5:00 p.m.?
A. Yes, we offer expedited courier service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Q. If I have an emergency delivery come up in the middle of the night and I call your main number, will a person answer the phone?
A. Yes. We answer our phone and deliver packages 24 hours a day. If you do get a recorder it means the after hours dispatcher is on the phone with another client. Leave your name and number and he/she will get back to you in less than five minutes.
Q. Can I call Dallas Courier today for a delivery that I need picked up and delivered tomorrow?
A. Absolutely! In fact you can call us today to schedule a delivery for any time in the future. Our state-of-the-art dispatch system will notify our dispatchers at the appropriate time regarding your delivery and it will be performed as requested.

Q. Can I request a package be delivered at a specific time and/or to a certain person?
A. We aim to please. Therefore, we will deliver at a specific time, to a specific person or meet any other request you may have.

Q. What do you do if you have instructions to deliver to a specific individual who is not present when delivering the package?
A.Dallas Courier instructs all of its couriers to never make unilateral decisions. Therefore, if the specific person is not at the delivery location, the courier will contact dispatch for instructions. Customer Service in turn will contact you for further instructions. If you are unavailable, the courier will be instructed to retain the package pending future instructions.

Q. Can we request to receive e-mails regarding the progress of our deliveries?
A. Absolutely. You can request e-mail notification when ordering on-line or simply make known your wishes when speaking to one of our customer service reps. Below are the individual stages you can request to be notified on regarding your delivery’s progress.

- When package is picked up
- When package has been delivered along with who signed for the package

Q. Can I view my invoice on-line?
A. Yes. You can login to your account and click the Accounting Tab which provides you with several options to choose from. You can have your invoice emailed to you or print it off while at the site. There are also valuable management reports which will help you control and evaluate your delivery costs.
Q. Can my invoice be sorted by reference number or cost center?
A. Yes. We understand that many of you charge out your courier expense to either clients or to different cost centers within your organization. To make it easy for you, we can sub total deliveries in a manner that suits your needs.
Q. Can you warehouse any of my boxes?
A. Yes. We can retrieve boxes from you, maintain them in our protected warehouse, and retrieve them for your use the same day at reasonable rates. Unlike the mega storage companies, our service is more personable, we respond faster, and you save money.
Q. Do you have box trucks in the event I have to move large quantities of boxes and/or oversized packages?
A. Yes. We can handle deliveries ranging from envelopes to multiple pallets.
