Dallas Scheduled Route Couriers: Dorothy Irene Height

Ladies, March is a pretty special month for you. It’s Women’s History Month. That means all month long (and pretty much month day before and after March) our Dallas Scheduled Route Couriers get to celebrate women and all they have done for our nation. While there are countless women who have influenced and continue to influence America, today the Dallas Scheduled Route Couriers have chosen to honor one special lady who would have been 102 today- Dorothy Height.

Route Delivery Services Dallas: Ostriches and Elections

Are you an ostrich? Yes, the large, flightless bird that roams the plains of Africa and who's feathers are often seen on the end of feather dusters (you're welcome for the random factoid). You're not an ostrich are you? You'll know if you are by the next statement: It's election season.

If you did not know that it is officially election season, then you are absolutely, positively an ostrich. If you are an ostrich, pull your head out of the sand and look around you. Take in the fresh air and the latest news. For those of you who have not had their heads in the sand, then you are fully aware that the 2012 Presidential Election is in full swing. We will all be (hopefully everyone!) gathering on November 6, 2012 to cast our vote. And while we are all out voting, I want us to each be reminded of the sacredness of the Presidential election. It is a freedom that so many around the world do not have the freedom to exercise.

Q&A: When to Use Scheduled Deliveries Dallas

In working for courier services Dallas, I literally see it all. I see clients who use us once a month to clients who use our delivery services DFW 15 times per day. I also hear a lot of questions circulate around our home office from customers - when should I set up an account, how many times can I call per day for deliveries, should I set up a route delivery?

The one I plan on focusing on today is the last question - should I set up a route delivery.

Dallas Courier Services: Cowboy Up!

We love Dallas sports teams. If you are one of our loyal blog readers, this should come as no surprise. We are always blogging about whatever teams are playing, and in case you've been living under a giant rock... football is back!! You know what we also love about football season, we often get to handle Dallas deliveries including Dallas Cowboys football tickets!

We have quite a few diehard Cowboys fans at Dallas Courier. They sport their Romo jerseys often, and I imagine that quite a few will be going out this weekend to buy Ogletree jerseys (I know I will be!).

Deliveries Dallas: A Crowded Day in London Town

It is upon us. The week of the Olympic Games. On Friday, the world will collectively hold it's breath in anticipation for the opening ceremony. People will carry their country's flag with pride. All team members will be uniformed in matching garb. There will be smiles. There will be tears. There will be cheers. There will be pride. All of the hopes, a compilation of years and years of work, will come alive in the opening ceremony. From the coaches to the athletes to the parents to the spouses to the children - everyone is on the edge of their seats. People are hoping for a fantastic show. People are wanting to hear stories of perseverance, overcoming unbelievable odds, passion, and talent. We want to see perfect floor routines, lightning fast runs, nail biting sand volleyball matches, and impressive shotputs.

Route Deliveries Dallas: Father's Day

Dallas Courier boasts a lot of father's on our team. We have dad's with toddlers, teens, adults and everything in between. We even have quite a few teammembers who have stepped up to the plate and been a father to children (and adults) who either don't have living fathers or who have father's unwilling to invest in their lives.

Scheduled Deliveries Dallas: How It's Made

What does your to-do list look like today? Let me guess... wake up after hitting snooze one too many times; get coffee into system ASAP; try on three outfits before choosing one; get in the car and realize you need gas; rush to the gas station and get just enough to make it to work; arrive to work and check voicemails; answer as many emails as possible; work furiously; look up at the clock and realize you worked through lunch; panic when you notice that daily drop off to your client is due in 2 hours; work furiously again; get in car to make the delivery yourself since you haven't called any courier companies in Dallas; drive fast; get pulled over; get a ticket you won't be reimbursed for; finally make it to the client's office (15 minutes late); make drop-off; get stuck making small talk for 22 minutes; get back in your car and realize it's almost 5:00 and there's no point in heading back to the office.

Scheduled Deliveries Dallas Team: Grammy Goodness

The Grammy’s. A night to celebrate music, fashion, talent and lack thereof. The red carpet glistened with the classy, timeless, gorgeous looks of Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Adele and Jennifer Hudson. It frightened us a bit with the overdone, crazed, attention-craving looks of Fergie, Gaga, and Nicki Minaj.
