It's springtime, and springtime at my house is synonymous with one thing: crawfish! The moment the weather warms up, we know it's time for a crawfish boil. Crawfish boils are an important part of living in the south, so if you are in Dallas and haven't been to one, make it a priority this year. Texans should know how to crawfish boil.
You ready to party?!? Actually, I am banking on the fact that most people will be working instead of partying, but we can all pretend, right? Our Dallas Courier team will actually get to celebrate a little – chances are that many of them will be making a few Mardi Gras-themed deliveries tomorrow.
Many people I talk to think that our team at Dallas Courier only handles items like folders, boxes, bank deposits and the like. I can literally see their surprise when I tell them that our couriers deliver a lot more than bank deposits (of course we do value those deliveries!).
Pumpkin pie, fresh turkey, stuffing, corn, buttered rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, apple cider, pecan pie, sweet potatoes… Thanksgiving! Turkey day is literally a table full of things that tasty and delicious!
‘Tis the season to be merry. ‘Tis the season to be grateful. ‘Tis the season to be with family. ‘Tis the season to share. ‘Tis the season to give thanks. ‘Tis the season to give back.
Thankfulness is as thankfulness does.
This weekend is sure to be full of pranks, candy, costumes and fun. It’s Halloween weekend, and the kids (and adults) will be out in full force. Come Monday, we can all expect knocks at our doors signaling us to grab the candy and get ready for some cute kids.
Trick or treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat. If you don’t, I don’t care, I’ll pull down your underwear!
