Last week, the world lost an entertainment icon and an old favorite of our Dallas Hot Shot Couriers. Mickey Rooney passed away at the age of 93. His career was expansive; one of the longest in entertainment history. With 88 years in the cinema, he appeared in over 200 films, various Broadway shows and musicals, and lent his vocal talents to movies, TV shows, and commercials. You may remember him best as Andy Hardy in the film series with the same name, but that was only the tip of the iceberg of Rooney’s career.
When you think of the image of the Dallas skyline, what comes to mind? For our folks at Hot Shot Courier Dallas the answer is Reunion Tower, aka “The Ball”. It rises above the city rooftops, and shines in the night next to the most famous pieces of architecture in our hometown. And as of Saturday, October 5th, Reunion Tower is once again complete and open to the public for awe-inspiring 360 degree views via the GeO-Deck. They’re calling it a new era for the tower, but we can’t forget its roots.
