Why should we use your courier service?

We care! We demonstrate this every day by our proven track record of consistently being on-time for same day on-demand deliveries and almost 100% for scheduled deliveries. Our couriers are well trained and uniformed and our dispatchers and customer service reps are always available to meet your needs. We are fully insured with “A” rated insurance carriers for your protection and confidence.

What geographic areas do you serve?

The majority of our same day deliveries are within the greater Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

We also offer expedited custom deliveries that have us traveling to cities outside of DFW and to other states. We will either deliver or pick-up packages for our clients in cities like Austin, Tyler, Houston, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Memphis and beyond. 

How much do you charge for your same day deliveries?

Our delivery rates are determined based on two major factors: distance and time. For example, the mileage for a delivery going from downtown Dallas to downtown Ft. Worth is far greater than the mileage for a delivery going from downtown Dallas to North Dallas. Therefore, the Ft. Worth delivery will be priced higher. Time is the other major pricing factor. The cost of a one hour delivery is greater than the cost of a four hour delivery. We factor in both elements to come up with a fair price for our customers. 

I have had couriers come to my office looking like they just fell out of bed or worse. What can I expect of your couriers?

As your courier company, we are a direct extension of your organization's brand. We ensure that our couriers are professionally attired. The standard uniform is a logo embroidered dark blue shirt with khaki pants.

Do you make same day deliveries after 5:00 p.m.?

Yes, we offer expedited courier service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

If I have an emergency delivery come up in the middle of the night and I call your main number, will a person answer the phone?

Yes. We answer our phone and make deliveries 24 hours a day. If you do get a recorder it means the after hours dispatcher is on the phone with another client. Leave your name and number and he/she will get back to you in less than five minutes.

Can I call Dallas Courier today for a delivery that I need picked up and delivered tomorrow?

Absolutely! In fact, you can call us today to schedule a delivery for any time in the future. Our state-of-the-art dispatch system will notify our dispatchers at the appropriate time regarding your delivery and it will be performed as requested.

Can I request a package be delivered at a specific time and/or to a certain person?

Yes, we will deliver at a specific time, to a specific person. If you have any additional special need or request, we will work with you to meet it.

What happens if the specified person is not present upon item delivery?

Dallas Courier couriers are trained to never make unilateral decisions. If the specified person is not at the delivery location, the courier will contact dispatch for instructions. Customer Service in turn will contact you for further instructions. If you are unavailable, the courier will be instructed to retain the package pending future instructions.

Can we request to receive emails to track deliveries?

Absolutely! You can request e-mail notification when ordering online or by phone. Below are the individual stages you can request to be notified on regarding your delivery’s progress:

  • When order is placed
  • When delivery is picked up
  • When delivery has been completed along with who signed to receive it 

Can I view my invoice online?

Yes. You can login to your account and click the Accounting Tab which provides you with several options to choose from. Invoices can be emailed or printed off directly from your login. There are also valuable management reports which will help you control and evaluate your delivery costs.

Can my invoice be sorted by reference number or cost center?

Yes. We understand that many of you charge out your courier expense to clients and/or different cost centers within your organization. To make it easy for you, we can sub total deliveries in a manner that suits your needs.

Can you warehouse any of my boxes?

Yes. We can pick-up items from you, keep them securely in our protected warehouse, and deliver them as instructed. Unlike the mega storage companies, our Dallas warehousing service is personable, fast, and you save money.

Do you have straight trucks for large quantities of boxes and/or oversized packages?

Yes. Dallas Courier is equipped to handle deliveries ranging from envelopes to multiple pallets.

Is Dallas Courier licensed to deliver wine and other alcoholic beverages?
